I began watching this movie with a naive sort of illusioned hope that it would be "good". But not long after the very first line of dialogue, I was quickly disenchanted.

To start off, I can honestly say that I do not believe the great Willy Shakespeare intended the first few lines to be "dramatic", if you will. But lo and behold, the so-called "actors" of this so-called "film" were found shouting the opening lines.

Commenting on the actual dialogue and content of the film would be a digression from the obvious garbage that is this film. Apart from the cinematography of the castle scene, (which I'll admit was impressive), EVERY SHOT IN THIS FILM was a cliché. I don't know who directed this rubbage, but I'm quite sure it must have been a film student who's seen one egoyanesque art film too many. From glaringly obvious "profile" shots to the ridiculous extreme close-ups, this film was a slap in the face of good filmmaking. And as if there weren't enough clichés to carry this film into the land of amateur trash, the director felt compelled to give the ghost "crazy contact lenses" - an exercise in pure stupidity.

This director must do us all a favour and never get behind another camera in his life. I give this film half a star, and that's only for the Bard's superb writing.
